Built for Oklahoma concrete
Most Oklahoma City homes sit on a slab, and most of that concrete is plain grey: a patio poured with the house, a driveway gone blotchy, a garage floor with oil spots. Stain soaks into the surface instead of sitting on top like paint, so it won’t peel. The prep and the sealer decide how long it looks good.
Here that means planning for the weather. Oklahoma County averages 72 nights a year below freezing and 13 days above 100°F, and the red clay under much of the metro shrinks and swells with the seasons. Exterior stain work gets a UV-stable sealer and is booked for the warmer months.

No invented numbers here. Each point below is something you can check on the job.
Cleaning, degreasing and opening up the concrete so stain can soak in evenly. Most failed stain jobs fail here.
Stain reads differently on every slab, so colour is tested on your own concrete before the whole surface is done.
Square footage, prep, stain type, sealer and price in writing before work starts. No price list: every slab is different.
UV-stable exterior sealers for full-sun patios and decks, with resealing explained up front.
Stain colours concrete, it doesn’t hide it. If a slab has heaved or broken, you hear that before anything is quoted.
Patios, pool decks, driveways, garages and interior slab floors, each with its own stain and sealer choice.
How it works
Most residential stain jobs run over a few days, because the stain, the rinse and the sealer each need dry time. The weather sets the exact schedule.
Tell us the surface, the rough size and the age of the concrete. Photos help.
We check for cracks, old sealer and oil, and test colour on a corner of your slab.
One clear price covering prep, stain, sealer and any crack repair.
Prep, stain, rinse or neutralise, then seal. Dry times depend on the product and the weather.
Service areas
Each area page covers its own ZIPs, housing and local rules, from Yukon’s driveway permit to Norman’s historic districts.
It depends on the square footage, how much prep the slab needs, the stain type and the sealer. We don’t publish prices because two slabs are rarely alike; you get a written quote after the concrete has been seen.
Acid stain reacts chemically with the concrete and gives mottled, variegated earth tones that are different on every slab. Water-based stain sits in the surface pores and gives more even, predictable colour in a wider range of shades.
Usually, yes. Stain is translucent, so cracks, patches and old marks still show through. It colours the slab, it doesn’t hide it. A slab that has heaved or broken needs repair or a different finish instead.
Foot traffic usually comes back sooner than vehicles, and the sealer’s cure time sets the schedule. The product label gives the exact times, and cool or damp weather makes them longer.
The stain itself lasts; the sealer on top wears. Outdoor surfaces in full Oklahoma sun need resealing more often than interior floors.
No. Stain colours the concrete itself and is then sealed; epoxy is a thick coating built up on top of the slab. Stain keeps the look and texture of concrete and is often the lower-cost option.
